Claire Berticat
I am specialized in data processing and management and my research is integrated in the framework of human evolutionary biology.
My current projects concern the study of the effects of major dietary changes in humans (particularly the most recent one characterized by a very high consumption of refined carbohydrates) on health (Alzheimer's disease, cognitive decline, myopia) but also on certain traits involved in social life (attractiveness, cooperation).
I am also interested in the evolutionary function of sleep (immune theory) and the link between language and graphic development in children.
A number of these projects rely on data from 3 large national cohorts: 3C, Constances and Elfe.
I am responsible for the 2D/3D image acquisition and analysis studio (Eye-Tracker Eyelink1000, 3D Scanner GoScan50.
